Have you ever seen anything that tries to win your confidence more than this info-mercial? I haven't, not in the years of studying info-mercials and Internet Opportunities, to which this website is dedicated! Have I never seen this many marketing techniques wound together for maximum effect, in one info-mercial. Why so elaborate? You are about to find out what the real deal is with this program. It's simple, you buy tax liens on distressed properties and hope you sell them or rent them. What John Beck doesn't mention, among other things, is the Redemption Period. This is the time allotted to the TRUE owner to actually pay their taxes. In some states, that is up to 3 years, which means that you could tie up money or credit(paying that interest) for 3 years waiting to find out if the property is yours! This is just one of the many things you will need to know about this business. Any way you slice it, this business is not as easy as they want you to believe, but don't worry, they are there to help! My experience with the "Free and Clear" program is very similar to the many people who have shared their experiences with me: When I ordered this program, I almost immediately started receiving emails and phone calls urging me to buy add-ons like "coaching." I don't remember the exact figure that the first one asked me for, but I believe it was around $8000! If they are asking for money like that, right off the bat, I had to conclude that it must be pretty hard to do, but the guy who was supposed to "Coach" me had NEVER actually done a deal himself! You do receive the materials after ordering from the info-mercial, but it seems as though it is designed to be somewhat confusing and overwhelming. The "Advisory Service," where they try and talk you into spending even more money and the "Property Vault" which I thought was a cool idea, until I realized that you have to pay the big bucks first, before you get any where near the first crack at these "bargain properties." All in all, this program was not what I expected it to be. John Beck wanted A LOT more money than I would have imagined, so I figured that for now, if I wanted to buy some tax liens, I would go wait outside the courthouse like everybody else, which you would be doing a lot of anyway! Later, I found out that Tax Liens should only be a very small part of an overall plan to truly make money in Real Estate. So I researched many of the so called "gurus" to find something that tells you the whole story, but almost all of them wanted Thousands too. All I wanted was a successful person to tell me, in a step-by-step fashion, what to do and how to do it, without breaking the bank to find out! I looked at most of the "Mom and Pop" programs that are all over the internet, but most of them just seemed like the people got lucky one time and decided to write about it.
