Ted HanssonTheodore "Ted" Hansson was involved in real estate deals in Seattle area since 1988. He started buying and selling of properties in his area of operation that is Seattle.
Buyers and sellers were always there for properties and the only problem was the time between buying and selling. Selling of properties was not at the same time as buying. This resulted in blocking up the capital and Ted going in the red on many occasions. This did not bring any major money to Ted. As any businessman would tell you, blocked money is a loss made and circulating money is profits made. Ted did not give any thought to this.
Then in 1994 Ted Hansson met a man named Wayne. Ted says “That meeting changed my life forever.” Wayne worked for a large investor in Seattle. Since ‘Ted in red’ idea was not liked by him, both started working together to try a new idea.
The new idea worked like this: A number of ordinary persons across the country are selling their properties. Since the buyer does not have the entire money to pay the seller, a promissory note is then made with seller giving a loan to buyer and arranging to pay him in installments for next 10 to 15 years. Neither of them liked to do business this way. Seller would like to have a single lump some payment for his property and buyer was pleased to make a single payment for the deal so that he gets a good price for the deal. This would have worked fine for everybody, except for the fact that the money was nowhere to be found!
This is where Ted Hansson thought he would make his money. If he can find a cash rich man with the intention of investing money, the deal can be completed. Ted would then make money by getting a fee for finding persons, A seller, A buyer, and a man with money.
Since he was based in Seattle, he could work in that area. He devised a plan where by, persons working all over America would co-operate with him also invest some money and split profit on 50-50 basis. Number of persons came up and were rewarded with a good amount of money.
Sometimes however, Ted was too pushy and got some law suits in return, as one James S.
