The Cost factor is obviously a major factor. To get a decent Franchise Opportunity you must be prepared to spend AT LEAST $100,000 or more! It is a proven fact that anything less than this will probably not survive.

Another major factor will be the TIME required to make the Franchise profitable. If you find that you don't love it, to bad, so sad, YOU WILL BE MARRIED TO IT! You will find yourself working twice as much as when they were an employee, so kiss your lifestyle goodbye for at least 2 years!

If you are not there, the business does not operate smoothly, or at all. Statisically speaking, without you the business goes under in 30 days. So if you are sick or want a vacation, forget about it!

Many have found exactly what they are looking for with a Franchise, but many have found that it ground them into the dirt and in the end they still didn't succeed.

I am certainly not wishing failure on anyone, but quite frankly, I don't understand why anyone would put themselves through it. There are other ways to make a lot of money and live the lifestyle you want NOW, with 1000% less stress, hassle, and anxiety. And at a miniscule fraction of what a Franchise will cost!

After years of testing opportunities, most of them don't generate much money because they don't have a Totally Unique Product that offers something new to a Huge Existing Market.
